Organising a small photo competition is something trivial. What's so difficult about collecting a few photos and inviting people to choose the best one?
If we are all together we can still organize ourselves easily, but as soon as we go into the virtual world and at a distance. Where are we going to store the photos? How can we control who offers a photo? How can we avoid that one person offers only one photo? And how can we make sure that during the voting process we don't cheat too much?
It is quite possible to work with the tools made available by social networks, but it is really not easy to set up. And then it's not easy to check them all.
That's why I created a small web application that allows one person to create a contest, participants to upload and confirm their photos and also to confirm the votes of those who can vote.
